Padma Shri Dr. Bramhanandam was born on February 1, 1956 at Sattenapalle, Andhra Pradesh, India. Prior to films, he was a Telugu lecturer in the town of Attili, a town in West Godavari district in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
He began his film career with popular Telugu director and writer, Jandhyala's Aha Naa Pellanta in which Rajendra Prasad played the lead role. This movie has since become a cult classic among Telugu comedy films. Owing to his comic abilities and impeccable expressions, he is one of the most respected comedians in the history of Tollywood. Nowadays, he is an well-versatile active comedian in Tamil movies as well, such as in Ghilli, Mozhi, Kuselan and Sathyam. He recently earned a spot in the Guinness World Records for acting in 754 Telugu films in 20 years.
